Life is so funny! I post an article about the award that Geneva received in 2014. The reason was that I was looking for proof that Geneva is not boring as that guy told me at the beach earlier this summer. I published the post on September 4th. On September 5th, the very next day, it was announced that Geneva has been awarded the same award “Europe’s Leading City Break Destination” for 2015!!! The «travel Oscar» as I read on Geneve Tourism site. So this time I decided not to wait for a whole year to congratulate our city for this honor. LOL.

But I would not take your precious browsing time just for this update. I have something way more exciting. And FREE is always exciting, no? So tomorrow Europe’s leading City Break Destination for 2015, Geneva that is, is offering us over 40 activities to experience the reasons why we (please allow me to say «we») got the award. Like tourists. Tourists for a day said the Geneve Tourisme ad. And all for FREE. Some of them are super fun and I can’t wait to do them myself. There is also the cable car (Teleferique), but I am not that good with heights. Plus lots of museums and the likes. This is what I have noted down as my Top 10 for Jeune Genevois. A day that will go down from now on as the FREE Fun tourist Day in our own city. I am stressed now, lots to do tomorrow…
