– Carouge!
Carouge, Grand Saconnex, Carouge. My nerves. More of a scene from kindergarten than adults lounging with the a view of the lake over martinis. The excuse for bringing out the less mature version of both of them (although not proven that there is a really mature one at all)? Where to go on Sunday. There was a consensus that it would be a Sunday visiting Xmas markets. That was before the 5 years olds started expressing their preferences. Such an annoying dialogue, that the lady with the expressless face, from an assertive botox intervention, grabbed her fur and her Birkin, stood up and left the table next to us. Not even an angry look, nothing. Maybe she knew that she would not manage to create that face due to the botulinum toxin injected in her cells.

Anyway. While I managed to expand the dialogue from these two words (actually 3: Carouge, Grand, Saconnex), the topic was not closed. Then somewhat more mature supporting elements were fired.
Eric: If we go to Carouge, we can also have brunch at Ocalme. Eva, you love that place. This is also one of your very first posts, remember? (he played a good card, hitting an emotional cord with the post, see here).
Alice: Eva loves candles and she won’t want to miss the Salon de la Bougie. (She is also right. I like salons. I like candles.)
Marc: Do I get a saying in this? Or is it “All About Eve”? Shall we vote? (Not sure if this suggestion from Marc is another childish behavior added to the ones of my other two friends or if it is just male square engineering logic.)

We are lucky to live in a city that around this time of the year, just this city, not counting the neighboring villages and the mountains, offer lots of options for getting into the spirit of the season. As early as this weekend and all the way to Xmas. See for yourself the below list.
