I keep flying away from Geneva either for work or personal. The airport feels at times like my second home. Inevitably I have to give to Geneva International Airport some credit and love for hosting me all these hours (or weeks if you add them up). Therefore I created these infographics (such a cool term) to share the key statistics and info about the place that welcomes back every time and sends us off to other dreamy destinations.
Now if you are interested in the rest of the big hubs in Europe, here is the list with the busiest airports around us. The usual suspects are in the Top 10. Instanbul Ataturk airport had the biggest growth in the Top 10 with 11% between 2013 and 2014, while Athens, while Belgrade with 31%, Istanbul’s Sabiha with 28%, Greece’s Thessaloniki with 24% and Athens with 21% topped the growth list. Geneva had more traffic than Hamburg, St Petersburg, Lyon, Nice and Marseille! It’s getting busy around here…
